Private Health Insurance Premium Increase

All private health insurance funds are increasing their premiums from 1st April, 2015.  Some funds are increasing their premiums by as much as 10%.

You may be able to avoid the price increase if you prepay your private health insurance premium prior by 31st March, 2016.  Most funds will accept a prepayment of premium at your current premium amount.

You may however take the opportunity to shop around for a cheaper premium with another provider.  When was the last time you compared your current health insurer with other providers in the market?
