FREE SEMINAR ON UNDERSTANDING EBAY

The simplest way to sell your products on-line is by setting up an eBay Store.

Why Use eBay?

It's the world's largest and most successful auction website in the world!

So What Makes It So Special?

When it comes to buying and selling online, there's one name that springs to mind, eBay.  Like Google, eBay has managed to make a nonsense word familiar by simply being the best at what it does.  It's a name that's always in the news for one reason or another - perhaps because someone's astounding success story or thanks to something weird, wonderful or controversial turning up for sale.

What Can eBay Do For You?

eBay can be used for a variety of different purposes and not everyone uses it in exactly he same way.  You may not ever use all of eBay's features and functions or you might use one now and a different one later.  Chances are there's at least one way that eBay can be useful to you.

To Move Your Business Online

Almost all businesses now have a website.  The internet is an important if not necessary part of most business strategies.  However, getting started could be quite daunting, websites can be expensive, difficult and time consuming to set up and if you want to be able to sell your products through your website, that adds an extra dimension of difficulty.  It's easier, not to mention cheaper and quicker, to set up an eBay store instead.  Yes, you will have to pay a fee to eBay in order to trade this way, but it's likely to be a much smaller sum than you would otherwise spend on web development and maintenance.  There's also the fact that eBay has a built-in audience.  People are already shopping online and will probably choose to look on eBay before they look at individual websites.  For existing customers or people who have already heard of your business, you can link from a main site to your eBay auctions, so they won't have to look very hard to find what they are after.  The most difficult part of moving a business online is probably finding a way to handle payments.  With eBay, that's already taken care of by eBay's associated payment system, PayPal which is easy to use, reliable and trusted by most web users.  It's often more secure than other payment methods with a much smaller margin for error.

Getting Started

By now, you should have some idea why people love eBay so much.  In fact, you're probably already drawing up a mental catalogue of things you'd like to sell or look for.  We have an eBay consultant that can help you get started.  Stan Rychlik of yaBe Training is a market leading provider of eBay Training and Business Solutions in Australia who is focused on easy to understand, quality and value for money products and services.  His goal is to provide eBay clients with the skills and tools to undertake their online experience with confidence thereby enabling them to maximize their buying and selling opportunities.  Stan can educate you on everything you need to know to get started, grow and manage a business trading on eBay.
